At this bend in The River the worst steamboat accident occurred in history of Ohio River travel.  You’ll find the Historic Marker there that will tell this story.  Barges today use caution when navigating this bend. With the rock wall framing the magnificent Ohio River you’ll find this to be a great back drop for your family photos.
